Hi, I'm Yoyo, the founder of MiYo Beauty.
For the past two and a half years, I've been pouring my heart and soul into creating handcrafted organic soaps inspired by nature.
My journey into natural skincare began during the COVID-19 pandemic. Like many people, I suddenly found myself spending much more time at home. While studying and looking for a creative outlet, I started thinking about how I could build something meaningful with my own hands.
Before MiYo Beauty, I ran an online business selling facial sheet masks imported from Hong Kong. When the pandemic disrupted my supply chain, I faced an unexpected challenge. Instead of giving up, I decided to create something that truly reflected my passion.
That decision changed everything.
The inspiration for MiYo Beauty came from someone very close to my heart—my brother. Watching him struggle with eczema for many years made me realise how difficult it can be to find gentle skincare that feels kind to sensitive skin. His experience inspired me to learn more about traditional soap making, organic ingredients and the remarkable benefits that nature has to offer.
As I continued learning, I discovered a different way of making soap.
Rather than using plain water, I began creating fresh botanical infusions using carefully selected organic herbs, botanical teas and fresh plant juices. These natural infusions became the foundation of every bar of soap I make today, adding another layer of care and craftsmanship to each recipe.
Every bar of MiYo Beauty soap is handmade in the UK in small batches using certified organic ingredients. My aim has always been simple—to create skincare that is gentle, honest and made with respect for both people and the environment.
